AI should not assist in designing a website. When it comes to statistics and analytics, then AI may have a part, but art and AI do not mix. The purpose of art is that a human knows what humans like, and also how they want to present themselves. An AI cannot accurately make art, because art is meant to be made with emotions, something that, although AI can replicate, it can never feel. All emotions shown by an AI are, as the name implies, artificial, and therefore not real, and therefore not effective. In short, while AI may develop to make certain jobs easier, it should not be used for design purposes.

Web designers are meant to plan and create websites, ones which include text and images. The idea of making a website in of itself is web design. They should be familiar with making online businesses because websites and online promotion is good for making an online business and enlarging its audience. They can program the components of, say, an online store and add it into the website, and use the statistics of the results to figure out what works and what doesn't. All in all, web designers are a main part, if not, the biggest part of making an online business and having it succeed.
When it comes to promoting your brand, people turn to two main things; a website and social media. Websites are good to have a digital space that you can control. You can show your products, your sources, design it in a way that represents your brand and more. With social media, although it's less customizable, you can promote your brand, giving you the ability to interact with your audience and expand your reach. However, although you could have one without the other, it'd be difficult. Without social media, if you're just starting out, it'd be difficult for people to find out about your brand. But, if there's no website, then it limits your credibility as a business, and it'll be harder to track data. All in all, both social media and websites are useful in growing a business.
When it comes to accessible and inclusive web design, there are several contributing factors. An example would be optimizing color contrast, so it's easy to see words and images against the background. For example, the black text would be noticeable against the white background. Simple gestures are also valuable, which are button sizes and placements so that they can be easily clicked on and seen. Lastly, simplifying language is needed for anyone to navigate the website. If it's too inconsistent, or the typography is messed up, then it'd be hard to look at. So, while there are many contributions to inclusive web design, optimizing color contrast, simple gestures and simplifying language are three important ones.
The website that I have chosen to talk about is Youtube. As you can see, there are two hamburger menus: one on the top left, and the other on the top right. The buttons for options are kept on the side, but still noticeable if someone were to be looking for them. The website is easy to navigate, with the icons and small headers helping to display what the features are. The videos, which are the main attraction, are made to be bigger and centered to draw attention to it. In conclusion, the way that the website is formatted represents the website well, and does what it is intended to.
Hamburger menus are a simple way to contain several different settings and options in one click. As it's hidden in the top right corner of the screen, it won't get in the way unless you're actively looking for it. I personally think that these are useful, in the sense that it's a quick way to find what you're looking for. If it wasn't there, all the options it contains would take up most of the screen, making it crowded and confusing to look at. Despite how small it is, and how it doesn't attract much attention, it works in its favor. The hamburger menu is well known enough for people to know where to find it if they're looking to do something in specific. In conclusion, yes, I agree that the hamburger menu is helpful.
Idolizer, the brand I just made up for this blog post, is a clothing brand that sells clothing items similar to the type of clothing that idols would wear. The logo itself has an icon of a dress, as it's mainly feminine clothing (although there would likely be masculine ones as well), and the light blue gives a softer vibe to the brand. The pictures that go along the logo are pictures of idol-like clothing, with either the colors of the clothing (like the holographic skirt) or the shape of the clothing (the pink dress) standing out. Two of the three images provided are actual idols as well. Therefore, the pictures and brand match each other both in same and symbols.
Branding, when selling a product, is important. Although you could proceed without one, it's best if you don't. With branding, you create expectations. If you have brand details, you can craft the type of appeal and impact you want to leave on your customers. Creating a brand makes your products more recognizable. If you have a logo along with your branding, they'll know what to associate with, like how fast-food restaurants put their logo on all of their packaging. The more your brand and products grow, people will go out of their way to look for it. They'll have a name to the items that they appreciate, and they'll know exactly how to spot it. By branding, you give them an expectation, possible reliability. There are several things that one can include in branding, not just a logo. Maybe your products can have a special or unique design to them, like a Happy Meal, which also happens to incorporate the logo into it. There's also the ability to make a website, which can be named after your brand. You can design your brand with your brands main colors, which can be derived from the logo and the main impression you want to give the people viewing it. For example, people tend to associate the color luck and growth, and blue with more peaceful places. I used mainly pink to design my website to give an impression of playfulness, innocence and possibly give it some charm. So, to summarize, if you want your products to be more recognizable and offer a sense of loyalty and reliability to your customers, branding is the way you go. Branding is used to show the outside world what you strive to be, and having a definite idea on what that's supposed to look at will help design the outcome.
Digital citizenship is the social participation and engagement online, using things like computers and phones. Users use the internet to communicate, learn, and help gain experience. It's important because digital citizenship opens a realm of new possibilities. If someone with digital citizenship uses it wisely and securely, they gain the ability to meet new people from across the world and learn to work together with them. Education-wise, people can use their digital citizenship to access more ways to learn. With articles, educational games and even platforms like Google Classroom, learning can be more immersive and interactive. There are many positives to digital citizenship, such as the aforementioned; more options for communication and education. There are also opportunities for careers, as there's more ways to research options for the future, and people can also use the Internet to support online businesses, like online shopping. However, if someone were to use the Internet unwisely, they could run into several issues. For example, doxing is a huge problem where people post personal information and strangers use it to find more, like addresses or contacts to their family. Employers can also view the posts being made and hire them accordingly. People can get harassed, discriminated against, and hurt by the very thing that could help them. All in all, although it's easy for things to go downhill, digital citizenship is an important tool in everyday life.
